What's all this? Some stereo movies, made in December 2002, both under 1-meg, that can be viewed by double-clicking or downloading. If you can't free-view stereo, look at www.reel-3d.com for their inexpensive plastic handheld viewer that can be held over any stereo pair, making it easier to fuse the images to see the stereo effect. CatLooking-1064k.mpg clouds-stereo.mpg These were made using -- two Fire-i firewire cameras -- Powerbook 2000/Pismo, 400 mhz -- EvoCam (www.evological.com) Viewing: if you can free-view a pair of stereo photographs, using "parallel viewing" -- where you let your eyes focus 'beyond' the picture, diverging slightly until you 'see three images' -- the 'middle' will be the overlap of both pictures and your brain will interpret it as a three dimensional image. Get the images to overlap, then start the movie; you can probably keep fusion through to the end. These were a proof-of-concept, and I'm just now getting back to doing more of these, with the same pair of cameras, a 900 mhz CPU in the Pismo and a faster hard drive.
